Bring even the most rebellious of teeth into line at Santa Ana Magic Smile with traditional braces. Work with our orthodontic expert to build a treatment plan that will result in a healthier, better-looking smile.

What Are Braces?

Traditional braces are dental appliances attached directly to the teeth to gradually pull them into shape. We intermittently tighten these brackets, further adjusting your teeth until they are perfect, straight, and aligned.

While many places only offer Invisalign now, we know that some patients simply need traditional braces. Severe alignment issues only respond to traditional orthodontic methods. That is why we still offer braces, ensuring all patients who need treatment have a suitable option at our practice.

How to Get Braces

Consultation
We fully evaluate each case before recommending orthodontic treatment. In some cases, you can have either Invisalign or traditional braces. In others, only traditional braces can deliver the results you need.
We attach brackets to each tooth individually, which are connected with wires.
Patients return to our office every 4 to 6 weeks for use to tighten their braces. This allows them to continue moving your teeth into position.

Dental Emergency? We got you covered.

We are open 5 days a week, including Saturday and evening appointments. Same Day appointments available.

Braces FAQs

How long do braces take?
The duration of treatment with braces can vary notably, ranging from 6 to 36 months. Complex cases will take longer, while simple cases may be complete before even a year has passed.
Braces have a bad reputation for being painful or uncomfortable. Any orthodontic treatment will involve some degree of discomfort. Patients usually report feeling discomfort after each tightening session. However, this sensation improves after a few days.
Braces can prove a more affordable option in some cases, but the cost can still vary. We will let you know what price to expect after the evaluation during the consult. This allows us to provide an accurate quote that lines up with your treatment needs. Also, many dental insurance plans provide some coverage for braces, especially for kids and teens.
